New initiatives at our Fall 20 show

LOOKBOOK LOOKBOOK

Notice anything familiar about our New York fashion week show? We reused our seating benches for the fourth consecutive season. Of course, it’s the clothes that grab the attention on our runways, but plenty goes on behind the scenes that you never see.

ZIMMERMANN is committed to reducing waste and the environmental impacts of our shows. We’ll be storing our scenic walls to re-purpose next season. Front of house, we distributed recyclable paper cups instead of plastic bottles for water. We’ve banned plastic straws. Our show lighting used 30% less energy than previous seasons, and we’re carbon offsetting our show-related logistics.

As part of our continued bushfire relief efforts, we will be working with the Carbon Neutral Charitable Fund to plant 10 native trees in Australia for each guest who attended the show. ZIMMERMANN has already made significant donations to multiple charities through our Koala T-Shirt initiative, and via a percentage of sales donated to Red Cross on January 5.
