With everything that is currently going on in the world, it is easy to forget the bushfires that destroyed much of Australia over the summer of 2019-2020.

We were devastated by the impact these fires had on communities, the environment and our Australian wildlife and chose to support the brilliant work of The Port Macquarie Koala Hospital with the launch of the ZIMMERMANN Help the Koalas T-Shirts. The T-Shirts were sold online globally and in our Australian Stores, with 100% of proceeds from each sale donated to the Port Macquarie Koala Hospital, which saves the lives of these beautiful animals.

We are proud to say that since January 2020, we have made a number of donations to the hospital totalling in excess of $60,000 as you have supported this cause and bought our t-shirts. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

These funds have been used to treat injured koalas, provide koala drinking stations around the country, support their new wild koala breeding program in NSW, and build a “Koala Ark” to allow surviving koalas to be accommodated in a healthy habitat.
